Process
Guiding You Through
The Whole Journey
Consultation
Construction projects can seem overwhelming and complex. Our customer-centric approach starts with us understanding your plans and what you want to achieve. Our project consultant will advise on what is possible, what is not and most importantly what steps you need to take to get there.
We can advise on the planning permission process, material specification and of course provide detailed costs associated with the project from ground-works to construction and all the way through to those bespoke finishing touches that make your project unique.
Planning
Every project undertaken by Promain must be aligned with all relevant planning permission. While we cannot influence planning decisions we can explain the process of applying, likely timescales and what you will need in place before you make an application.
We can recommend architects, engineers or designers should this be relevant. Where you already have these in place, we will work directly with them to ensure all specifications are met. We will also provide guidance on when to request building control visits.
Build
Building projects are disruptive by nature but we always aim to minimise noise and mess where it is physically possible. Our project plans will map out periods of disruption and we will work with you to ensure the most comfortable build experience.
Our team are all friendly and approachable and you can get to know them as they work to complete your project to the highest possible standard.
We will provide regular updates during the build process and do our utmost to communicate any changes, issues or considerations if and when required.
Finishing Touches
During the planning phase, we will gather a solid idea of your decorative plans including fixtures, fittings and colour schemes, subsequently providing a cost for the specified finish.
We appreciate that design is subjective and personal, but where requested to do so we are able to provide advice and suggestions on all areas of decoration from paint colours to furniture location, or suggest specific products to accent a wall or make your project more unique.
